Join us for an engaging talk about the wildlife of Inch Park and the recent ecological work carried out along the Braid Burn.
This summer, the Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust invited an ecologist to carry out a Phase One Habitat Survey on behalf of Friends of Inch Park. The results help us understand how to protect and improve the park’s biodiversity, and we’d love to share what it all means.
We’ll also show some brilliant photos from our recent BioBlitz and chat about the wildlife spotted on the day. If you’ve observed plants, birds, insects or any other creatures in the park over the years, please bring your memories along. Every sighting helps us build a better picture of how the park can support the richest possible wildlife.
The talk takes place straight after the delicious Bridgend Farmhouse community meal. The meals have been very popular recently, so please do book in advance so the team knows how many people to cater for.
If you’d like to attend just the talk and not the meal, simply pop an email to admin@bridgendfarmhouse.org.uk.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact beth@elgt.org.uk or call 07840 854411.
We hope to see you there!
