Darla Eno
Darla has been involved with Bridgend Inspiring Growth since 2013, when she was helping with community consultations – mainly talking to neighbours and local community groups about the project and gauging people’s ideas, hopes and stories. From meeting so many people with a shared enthusiasm and hope for the project to blossom, she felt inspired to stay involved and impassioned to help bring the dream to a reality. She feels the farmhouse is a source of hope and has seen how so many people have been affected and moved by being there. She feels that community spaces which value the individual for themselves, as well as beings who are part of a wider community of humans and more-than-humans, is essential in this day and age, where people are isolated from each other and from the natural world. She has experience in community work through theatre, singing, outdoor education and cooking If you would like to know more about Darla's work or get involved with any of our initiatives please contact the BIG team |
