Sharon Stoddart - Our Community Development  Manager

Picture

Sharon is delighted to become our Community Development Manager at Bridgend Farmhouse.
She looks forward to connecting with even more of the local community and developing the service to meet the needs of the people.
She knows our area very well, spending the first 18 years of her life in Moredun and returning to live in the Inch in her  20’s. She has happy memories of living locally,  "pinching turnips from the field at the ‘No road’ and sneaking to play on the ‘Tarzan’ over the burn at the golf course. Then the streets were surrounded by farmland, and there was a real sense of community where everyone looked after each other."

Her career has seen her move from the Emergency Control room of the Fire Service to various voluntary sector projects over the years. She graduated with her Degree in Community Education in 2006 and returned to education in 2009 to study for a Diploma in Business Management.

We are sure her skills, knowledge and experience will greatly help us to further develop Bridgend Farmhouse in our community.
