Inaugural  Meeting

3pm Monday 20th February 2017 at
Priestfield Parish Church
2 Marchall Place, EH16 5HW

As we look forward to the opening to the public at the end of this year (2017) of our refurbished building we want your ideas and experience to make the centre a place where we help people to live healthier and happier lives.
We look forward to an inclusive space where people can find healthy affordable food, using local produce from Bridgend where we can, and the Bridgend community can address social isolation and be a place to strengthen community involvement.
Bridgend farmhouse café will be a social enterprise giving local people the opportunity to gain training and qualifications through its training kitchen. The café will also be a great asset for community cooking/ catering.

Download a copy of the flyer for the meeting  below and please pass it people who may be interested in attending.
Or just point them at this page !

Working with Bridgend’s development team the farmhouse community will create innovative solutions to address food poverty.
In addition to the café the farmhouse will offer the community great spaces in its workshops, meeting spaces and event space to suit everyone including our Bothy and outdoor kitchen coming soon, so no need to wait for the official opening as we can get started with events now.
If this sounds of interest to you then we look forward to welcoming you to our first meeting on the 20th February, details above.

If you have any questions then please contact Hazel at Bridgendfarmhousecafe@gmail.com
