SUNDAY DROP-IN (every Sunday 11am to 3pm) - everyone welcome, just turn up for our popular Sunday drop-in. Lots of activities around the farmhouse, with a free soup and bread lunch.
NEW WEDNESDAY DROP-IN (Every Wednesday 11-3pm) - Everyone very welcome, just turn up - and spread the word! Led by Mark Carr of Green Art: we will start be making a shelter and then an outdoor kitchen. More information from [email protected]
FOREST SKILLS/SURVIVAL SKILLS (Sundays 11-3pm) - 5 exciting outdoor sessions for 12-16 year olds involving a range of bushcraft, dens, shelters, outdoor cooking, natural fire lighting, bow-making, green wood-working and more. For more information or to sign up, email [email protected]
COMMUNITY CAFE TRAINING PROGRAMME (September to December) - an amazing 15 week training course at Sandy's Community Centre where you will work as a team to learn cooking skills, run a cafe for local residents, get qualifications in REHIS Food Hygiene, Nutrition and SQA in Working With Others. Wood carving, Garden Sculpture, Woodwork, and Wild Plants for Foraging (September and October) - Run in partnership with the City of Edinburgh Council and Liberton High School, there are a range of courses here, some are one day events, some five sessions, some ten sessions. BIG Burns Supper and Ceilidh, 23rd January 2016
Richmond Church Hall, Craigmillar 4.30pm Burns Supper and performances 7:30pm Ceilidh Great food, drinks, performances, speeches, dancing, raffle, celebrations and lots more! Come along and celebrate Bridgend Inspiring Growth getting ownership and funding for the Bridgend Farmhouse Renovation project and help raise money too towards community programmes and the weekly drop-in on site.
