Zoe Murdoch - Our Community Engagement Worker
Originally with a background in Textile Design, a chance involvement in a community Arts Project made Zoe change direction.
The opportunity to work with people directly and facilitate change was rewarding and inspiring. The community project demonstrated the power displayed when people work together creatively and sparked a passion for lifelong learning and engagement. After time spent travelling and working abroad Zoe returned to Scotland and continued working as a sessional arts worker with a variety of vulnerable adults and children for charities and projects throughout Edinburgh. She then completed a post graduate diploma in Community Education which consolidated her practical experience with academic knowledge to further develop her practice. Now with over 15 years’ experience in Community Engagement Zoe is delighted to be working at Bridgend Farmhouse “It’s a beautiful place with an inspiring history of people coming together to create change and I’m excited to further develop and expand the great work already done here” |
