Gill Curran - Skills Development Coordinators
"Originally from Liverpool and have spent most of my life making things with glue and cardboard after initially studying to make things with glass and ceramics in Sunderland.
I moved to Edinburgh after Uni and spent many years working for what was then Edinburgh City Council Health & Social Work Dept. before deciding I wanted to move to working with animals instead and joining the farmhouse as a volunteer, only to discover there are no cows or pigs here! I began volunteering at Bridgend in 2015 before being entrusted to support arts & crafts classes on a sessional basis member and now also doing Skills Development Work alongside to my duties alongside Marta. In my spare time, my hobbies are makrame and llama rearing. Bridgend Farmhouse is an important part of my life – it means as much to me as it does to the local area – and I’m totally invested in supporting it, to support its community” |
